Introduction to Timber Framing (CPD)

The basics of timber frames spelt out. Terms, traditional techniques/tools AND locally sourced timber.  with traditional timber framer William Clement-Smith and centre manager Sarah Partridge

Wooden Roof Tiles - Shingles (CPD)

Learn how to convert logs into shingles using a traditional woodland tools - cleaving with a froe, siding up with a side axe and final dressing using a draw knife. Course led by Sarah Partridge, Centre Manager of Orchard Barn
