The focus for the morning will be the use of clay as a building material. There will be the opportunity to use your feet (and hands) to make cob. Then during the afternoon, Rick Lewis of Traditional Oak Carpentry will talk about using local sourced trees in building projects. Rick will also demonstrate hand conversion of a log into a natural shaped timber. The new shingle roof and cob walls at Orchard Barn project will also be presented.
